India’s Overall GDP reaches 4.3 Trillion, The Fastest Growing Economy
India is the fastest economy with acheiving 105% growth in last 10 years among major economies. India’s overall GDP reached to 4.37 Trillion USD, an increase from 2.0T USD in 2014. India remains as fifth largest country in terms of GDP this year. In 2014 India’s position in GDP was at 10th place and Countries like Russia, Japan, Germany and France are ahead of India in GDP. In this decade India moves top to the list leaving several countries behind.
Now the countries ahead of India are Japan $4.4T, Germany $4.9T, China and United States. United States and China economies tops the list with $30.3 Trillion and $19.5 Trillion Respectively. India is projected to surpass two more economies in 2027 in GDP terms. The nearest economies to India are Japan ($4.4T) and Germany ($4.9T) in the top nations GDP list.
Several leaders and Union Ministers hailed this acheivment including Amit Malviya, told “This extraordinary achievement is a testament to the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the relentless efforts of his government. Through proactive economic policies, bold structural reforms, and a sustained focus on ease of doing business, the Modi government has propelled India to the position of the world’s fastest-growing major economy.”
In 2022 India achieves major milestone, becomes fifth largest economy by surpassing United Kingdom. GDP was at 3.53 Trillion USD with 7 percent growth rate. India has been the lighthouse in world economy with its consistent highest gdp growth rate over last five years.
