Union IT minister urged leading IT companies to develop a mobile os, which is specifically designed for India while addressing the 32nd ICT Business Awards and Digital Leadership conclave.

Companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies, and Tech Mahindra form the backbone of the Indian IT sector. These companies have established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services at competitive costs.

These giants provide a wide range of services, including software development, IT consulting, business process outsourcing, and digital solutions. They have demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

Now These major IT companies got challenge of software development of which are basically in service oriented approach. IT minister Challenged the Indian IT companies to come forward to create an os for our nation. Emphasized that now it is the time for India to become a product-driven nation.

IT industry is a major contributor to India’s economy, generating significant revenue and creating numerous employment opportunities. They are actively involved in helping businesses adopt digital transformation strategies, enabling them to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation.

Android and IOS are major Mobile Operating Systems available today and these are dominated Mobile OS in India and globally. Android developed by Google and IOS is developed by Apple in United States.
