Jio and Nvidia partnership set to build better AI Infrastructure in India
On Thursday, October 24 at the Nvidia’s AI Summit held in Mumbai, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Reliance Mukesh Ambani both participated in the event and had conversation about their future plans.
Reliance and Nvidia will now build Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure in India. The partnership will also give Reliance a special access to the latest version of Nvidia’s Hopper Superchip. Four hundred fifty million Jio (telecom) customers will now get brand new AI applications and services.
Jio has strategically partnered with NVIDIA to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions in India. Mukesh Ambani told “We have also been fortunate to have strong connectivity infrastructure. While our company initially did not operate in this domain, we have now become the largest data company in the world”. Also told the telecom major Jio was ready for a big scale-up of its data centers at Jamnagar, Gujarat.
